Remember though that the range of your electric car can vary depending on the equipment you are using (such as the air conditioning or heater) and features such as heated windscreens and heated rear windows for de-frosting, plus how you drive it and whether you have enabled recharging when braking.

And if your car isn't shown in our lists (we only display new cars), don't worry - you can cheat!

Just select the nearest car to your model, then change the range or battery capacity and the calculator will work out the figures for you.
